SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES SINCE 2014

In 2014 we made the decision to highlight at least one local business or event each week on our social media platforms. We believe that Central Kentucky's local businesses are the cornerstone of each and every neighborhood and community we serve. Since then we’ve highlighted over 300 local events, restaurants and shops. We enjoy living here, experiencing everything our communities have to offer and sharing that with our friends and neighbors!

To be completely transparent, none of the businesses we feature are affiliated with us in any manner. We don’t request or receive discounts, kickbacks or any other financial benefits from the local businesses we showcase. We also purchase the food we photograph (for restaurants) and every gift certificate/card we give away. In fact, many of the businesses we’ve highlighted are often surprised when they learn they’ve been featured in our Friday Freebies, social media posts or on our website.

Local events, restaurants and shops employ our friends and neighbors while also making our lives and communities more enjoyable, convenient, and enriched. We believe that's worth supporting!
